A management assessment has a number of components designed to help us learn more about your work style and thinking ability. To prepare you, we would like to give you some information ahead of time. Your consultant can provide you with other information and answer any questions you may have during the interview portion of the assessment.

Personality Inventories: You will be taking several personality inventories for this assessment. They are intended to assess the preferred work styles of normal people. You should have received a tester ID and some additional instructions from us, and will need this to access the instruments.

When you complete each instrument, the results are sent to our office electronically in the form of a report. We do not learn how you answered the specific items.

Background Form: You will receive a background form from us in an e-mail attachment. This document gives us information to better understand your prior life experiences. It is voluntary, but is extremely helpful to us and we encourage you to take the time to complete it.

We ask that you complete the personality instruments and the background form within the next 48 hours.

Interview: You will be talking to one of our consultants for an hour and one-half to two hours. During the interview your consultant will further explain the assessment process, and answer any questions you may have.

Aptitude Tests: You will be taking four tests to assess your analytical ability. You will be taking these tests at a company location or at our office.

Work Simulation: You may be asked to participate in a work simulation exercise as part of your assessment. You will be given a scenario and asked to perform tasks and/or act out a role play. This gives us a sense of your typical work behavior.

When all the elements of the assessment have been completed, your consultant will analyze the results and write a report. We realize this process is comprehensive, and appreciate your time and involvement to ensure a successful outcome.

Sometimes people approach a psychological assessment with some concerns. We want to assure you that we will work very hard to put you at ease. Most people in fact, tell us that it was an enjoyable experience. You will also have an opportunity to learn the results of the assessment, and your consultant will discuss that with you.
