Engaged
employees are the bedrock of successful companies. Research
is showing this and it just makes sense. Many companies use external
rewards to stimulate engagement, when it is really more a function
of motivated job fit. When people are working in jobs and company
cultures that are a good match for them, they are more productive
and happier and everyone wins.
We believe there are very few truly "poor performers."
However, there are many people who are in jobs that aren't a good
match, often the result of a bad hiring decision. Performance
issues can be an unfortunate consequence. Getting the "right
people on the bus" is the first step to business success.
As psychological consultants, we help client companies build
engaged workforces through the selection and development of GREAT
people. People who can contribute quickly and make an impact on
the business. What does a GREAT employee look like?
- Growing - Interested
in their own development and open to feedback
- Responsible - A strong
sense of commitment to their job and the company
- Engaged There
is a good match between their skills and motivators and the
needs of the company
- Affiliative
Able to work effectively with others and build relationships
- Thinkers Strong
analytical ability and problem-solving skills
