We
are successful at coaching because
we have a strong understanding of the business world based on
many years in corporate management combined with a theoretical
grounding in human behavior change. Through our process, clients
gain a greater appreciation for themselves and see how past behavior
has been useful or not. We examine aspirations and goals for the
person as seen by him or herself and the organization, and we
develop a concrete plan to achieve them. We provide both encouragement
and direct feedback as the individual moves along their journey,
recognizing that change is a difficult and often painful process.
We believe coaching is a systemic intervention. As part of this
approach, we include on-going discussions with the supervisor
in our coaching programs, and often encourage the use of multi-rater
feedback instruments. An initial meeting with the employee so
that he or she can get to know us and determine fit is suggested
and available free of charge.
